In this article, I’ll Walk you through my journey of collecting, visualizing, and analyzing accelerometer data from the WitMotion WT901BLECL5.0 sensor. The goal of this project is to use acceleration data to address vibration handling in 3D printer beds and optimize silicon printing parameters.
3D printing has become a cornerstone of modern manufacturing and prototyping, but it still has its quirks and limitations. One of the most significant issues I’ve encountered is the inability to modify G-code once a print job has started. This limitation often leaves users unable to make necessary adjustments mid-print, such as altering settings, inserting hardware, or addressing errors.
Silicone 3D printing is gaining traction for its versatility in producing soft robotic components. However, achieving high-quality prints requires a precise balance of materials, additives, and printing parameters. In this experiment, I tested different combinations of silicone mixtures, speeds, and pressures to determine their impact on print quality.
